Dear Baruch College
Some suggestions for new media would be creating a Baruch social media, on online site that connects you to all Baruch students. This allows you to find other students from Baruch and connect with them and make friends. This Baruch only social media site will help you find people who share the same interests as you do, while knowing that they attend the same school as you. this will also allow to connect with classmates and make it more convenient for everyone. New media has become such a powerful source, it can only continue to increase the positives with connecting to fellow students.

ReplyDeleteGood idea! In fact, Baruch has a Facebook page that I believe is ran by the management. There used to be a page called Baruch Crushes(something like that) that was created by students I guess. I enjoyed reading the posts on the page because I could relate to most of them. Unfortunately, the page seems to be gone already.
ReplyDeleteAnd having a Baruch college only social media will help students connect with each other even further. It can help students ( with the same professor) reach out to each other faster or even get the name of someone you didnt catch before.

ReplyDeleteHi Omar, I think another way Baruch can utilize new media is the benefit their current student body rather than using it the bring in more students and donations. I believe Baruch uses the money that comes from our tuition to build false value for the school when they could use it to build actual relevant value that could actually attract students in the future. -Muhammad Ahsan
